On new year's eve I spent dinner with four friends. It was memorable in the wrong ways.
UChan stayed over and we watched soccer past the celebrations and baked till 4am in the morning. We slept, together with Cracker and Lucky on my single bed until about 12-ish, I think. We woke up and made risotto and then nua-ed on the couch watching TVB.
New year's day. Vet called to update Cracker's blood test results. Contrary to past results, his white blood cells have decreased dramatically, especially the neutrophils. Cracker is in an immunocompromised state and would probably have to be on antibiotics permanently. That's expected since his innate immunity is screwed. The only difference of this from AIDS is that the granulocytes are affected, not the lymphocytes. This also explains his phases of illness between recovery.
Opportunistic infections.
